Welcome to the U.S.S. Nightingale!
Welcome to the U.S.S. Nightingale!
These are the voyages of the Nightingale. It’s continuing mission:
To apply all measures, for the benefit of the sick, that are required.
To remember that warmth, sympathy, and understanding outweigh the surgeon’s knife or the chemist’s drug.
To remember treating the person and not the sickness.
But most important, to do no harm.
The Nightingale, a medical specialty sim that has been running for three years, has been tasked to take the ship and her crew to the rescue of those in need, to keep the light lit for those who need guidance and a safe haven.

Our Chief Engineer Laura French has, unfortunately, had to resign due to RL time constraints. I thank her and wish her well, and she will be welcome back any time.
If you have any JPs still in the works with Laura, see if you can wrap them up without her and post them, or delete them.

This prompt comes from the Quick Plot Generator. Obviously feel free to adapt it to the Star Trek setting and your character.
As always, these prompts are purely voluntary, a way to possibly kickstart your muse and get creative juices flowing.
Your main character is a woman in her fifties, who can be quite anxious. The story begins in a car park. A phone call devastates a family. It's a story about loyalty. Your character sets out to change everyone's opinion.

It was pointed out to me that there is some confusion on what year we are in the simm. We did a year time jump before this mission to catch up to Fleet year 2395, but I didn't realize at the time that we were actually farther behind the fleet than that.
So just a clarification: we are in Fleet year 2395. Please adjust your bios accordingly. We may need to fudge a few things to line up, but it shouldn't be too much of an issue.
My apologies for the confusion.

So last month we did a first line prompt. This month we have a writing subject. Try writing something from your character's perspective.
As always, this is voluntary, a method to get your muse flowing.
Prompt: If you had the power to change one person's life, how would you do it?

I just wanted to let everyone know that I will be going on vacation this weekend. I will return next week, June 10/11. I don't know that status of wifi availability, or if I will have time to post or respond, but I should be available on WhatsApp or Discord on my phone. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
